A Message From JPAY

Please be aware Securus/JPay has very strict content guidelines for their music services: Only commercially available music (no spoken-word, free songs or podcasts)
No explicit language, images, or sexually explicit content of any kind
No depictions of violence or other abusive behavior
No unauthorized repurposing of other creator’s copyrighted works
Securus/JPay has a zero-tolerance policy for receiving any objectional content, and may not only block the offending products, but may block all content from any offending sources. If you currently deliver music to Securus/JPay through Audible Magic and are inquiring about availability of specific titles within the Securus/JPay services - please verify the content in question meets all above criteria, is not mislabeled in any way (e.g. proper Parental Advisory metadata) or may be otherwise inappropriate for their services. Also, please review that proper territory, pricing, and rights availability (subscription streaming or download purchase) metadata are prepared for your releases.
Be aware that Securus/Jpay has final editorial control over all content made available within their services, and delivery to Audible Magic does not guarantee display within Securus/JPay services.

Suggestions for music submitted to jpay

Keep It Clean

  • Your music can contain explicit  language, but no explicit language is allowed on tracklists, artist names, or artwork. We strongly recommend not uploading any explicit content or content that can be recognized or interpreted as gang affiliated.
  • In your tracklisting, don’t use any words related to violence, gang activity, weapon references, or other material detrimental to the security and/or order of the correctional facility. Example: Gun, Knife, Grenade, Bomb, Gang, Kill, Murder, Death, Don, Mafia, Cosa Nostra, etc.
  • Albums must not contain duplicate track titles. Track titles also cannot contain extra information, nor can they be generic. For example, please do not include  track numbers or track duration, and be sure that each title is unique. Do not list your titles as track 1, track 2, etc.
  • If your songs have multiple parts, you must differentiate between the tracks by using the abbreviation “pt.” For example: I’m going to scream, pt. 1, I’m going to scream, pt. 2.

Keep It Original

  • Don’t upload music that doesn’t belong to you, or your account will be blocked, and your sales will be lost. This also applies to using industry beats that don’t belong to you.
  • Your artwork design can’t have any images related to pornography, violence, gang  activity, weapon references, or other material detrimental to the security and/or order of the correctional facility. Your artwork should only mention the name of the artist and the title of the release. Don’t include anything else. It is mandatory that the release information (artist name, album title, or single title) matches perfectly the text on the cover artwork.
  • Your artwork must be at least 1600 x 1600 pixels in size.
  • Your artwork can NOT display the Parental Advisory explicit content Trademark logo.
